ASTM 193 Grade B7 & B16 Stud‎‏ Bolts
used with Spiral Wound Gaskets

The initial thickness of the spiral wound gasket is about 4.5‎‏ mm and‎‏ is compressed to about 3.2‎‏ ‎‏‎‏‎‏mm.

SELECT DIA OF BOLT

1. Torque Values are approved for Spiral Wound Graphite Gaskets
2. Bolting torque to develop 50% Bolt Yield Stress at Nut Factor, K=0.16
3. Listed values apply to Never-Seize paste and Fel-Pro lubricant, K=0.16
4. Listed values apply only to ASTM A193 Grade B7 and A193 Grade B16 Stud Bolts
5. The Final Torque Value accounts for 10% bolt relaxation
6. Listed values do not apply to stud bolts and nuts with PTFE or other coatings
