Taylor Swift received a warm welcome in Ireland ahead of her Eras Tour shows this weekend (June 28 to June 30, 2024)
Taylor Swift received the best warm welcome in Ireland ahead of her Eras Tour shows this weekend.
On Friday, June 28, just hours before her first show, the "So Long, London" singer, 34, posted a photo on her Instagram Stories showing a bouquet of brightly colored flowers and a sweet bill from iconic rock band U2.
“Dear Taylor, welcome back to our hometown…leave some of it standing?!!!!” the legendary musicians wrote. They signed it, “Your Irish fan club, Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry.”
Swift responded to the band's letter, writing about her photo, "I feel all that Irish hospitality now!!! @u2, thanks for always being the classiest & coolest." She closed her caption with the emoji of the Irish flag.
This is not the first time the pop star has received a nice gesture from U2. In 2018, the rock group sent her a bouquet of red roses and a bill saying "From your Irish fan club" before her Reputation concerts at Croke Park in Dublin.
The "Karma" musician posted a photo of the flowers and cute bill on her Instagram page and captioned it, "I walked into my dressing room to find roses from @U2 and I wasn't ready. I LOVE U2 I LOVE IRELAND LET DO THIS CROKE PARK!!!"
